Moon water is charged with the lunar energies, also it is being charged with the energies from the zodiac sign the Moon is traveling through at this time as well.
A common practice is to use charge water during a ceremony, or any other time you can use some agua with an energy boost.
Although, Moon water is usually charged beneath the Full Moon, you may charge under any phase you wish - for desired intention.
The Full Moon gives off the most lunar light, producing the most well-charged water. When exposing water to the moonlight several nights in a row, during the waxing period, you can still achieve a well charged water. Gain reference from a lunar calendar app or Almanac, to find out the Moon phase and the sign of which whose energies you wish to bring in and utilize.
Collect your water from a living source of water such as stream, spring, river ocean; also rain water will serve you best.
If you intend to ingesting your moon water , you will want to filter or boil it, prior to charging it.
Many will argue this renders the water now dead; we simply do not always have a choice for the sake of our health and dependent on the health of te water source. Charging will help restore some of the energy lost during purification.
Protect charged and charging water from; unauthorized drinkers, swimmers, insects, and anything else that might threaten the purity.
Herbs, Spices, Oils, & Stones can be added to moon water to enhance the energies.
Herbs, Spices and Oils are usually added at the end of charging.
Stones & Crystals can be placed in the water at the start of the process.
Creating Moon Water
- Choose your desired moon phase and zodiac sign if you are identifying specific energies.
- Place appropriately sourced water into a transparent glass or silver container that has been cleansed well. (Especially if you plan on consuming.)
- Add stones & / crystals the following infograph explains that which not to place in water.
- Set the container in a place so as when the moon rises it will shine onto and into the container.
- Say a few words of intention or a blessing upon the water as you wish.
- Fetch your container before sunlight and store wrapped in a black cloth away from the light and other energies - appropriately.
Repeat - until you have achieved your desired level of charge and intent.
Add Oils, Herbs, and Spices as your finishing touches.
Store in a dark glass or amber bottle - also wrapped in black cloth to protect as above.
